Not sure which air purifier is right for your home? Here are the four most important factors to consider before you buy.
Match the purifier's coverage area to your room. A unit rated for 500 sq ft won't effectively clean a 1,200 sq ft open floor plan.
Clean Air Delivery Rate measures how fast a purifier cleans the air. Higher CADR = faster, more effective purification.
True HEPA filters capture 99.97% of particles. Look for activated carbon too — it removes odors and VOCs that HEPA alone can't.
Bedroom units should run below 35 dB on low. Living room purifiers can be louder. Check the dB rating at the speed you'll use most.
